Category 6 Installation in Northamptonshire – Team Prevent UK

Team Prevent UK approached Nene Data & Electrical Ltd due to their requirement for a new Category 6 infrastructure installation within their additional premises in Towcester, Northamptonshire

The Client

Team Prevent UK is the UK division of Europes leading Occupational Health & Wellbeing providers, B·A·D GmbH. Established in 1975, they are able to provide Specialist Health, Well Being and Safety Services to over 250,000 companies and their 4 million employees across Europe.

The Brief

Due to recent rapid growth, Team Prevent UK have had a requirement for further premises to be acquired near to their current Center of Operations in Towcester. Once successfully located, Team Prevent UK reached out to Nene Data & Electrical for advice on whether to pursue a Category 5e or Category 6 cabling system. Nene Data & Electrical Ltd assigned their design team to the project to assess Team Prevent UK’s full needs.

The Solution

Due to the building lease term being of a substantial length, Nene Data & Electrical Ltd’s design team specified the Excel Networking Category 6 range for the horizontal cabling, and Excel’s Environ Rack series for the comms rack located within the main comms room. Excel’s cabling system provides Team Prevent UK with a manufacturer backed 25-year warranty which ensures that the IT Team have peace of mind that the cabling infrastructure has been installed to a high quality. Once awarded the contract, our installation team began the installation. The installation was completed just two weeks after the initial communication for the project happened, however under a tight deadline no quality was sacrificed and upon delivery, Sam Dummer, Contract Manager at Team Prevent UK expressed his gratefulness on the smooth and professional standard of the service the NDE Team delivered.
